Profile
Dr. Stefan Breunig is a Strategy Executive and entrepreneur with close to a decade at the forefront of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and Sustainable Aviation.
He began his industry journey at Siemens, where he was part of the pioneering team developing electric propulsion technology for aircraft at a time when the field was still in its infancy — working on some of the earliest electric flight programs in Europe.
He then moved to Rolls-Royce as Head of Strategy & Products for its AAM business, where the focus shifted from pure technology development to building market-ready products and shaping emerging AAM markets — leading market strategy, M&A transactions, and board-level investment decisions.
He has since co-founded ALBATROSS, a startup repositioning regional airports as integrated energy, mobility, and logistics hubs to enable the next wave of electric regional aviation.
Stefan advises start-ups, corporates, PE and VC funds on investment decisions in aviation electrification and new mobility — bridging deep technical knowledge with strategic and transactional expertise rarely found in a single profile.
